Residential Aide- Full Time

Ocean Housing Alliance, Inc. (OHA) is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization located in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. We provide housing, support, and services for low-income adults who are underserved, unsheltered, and have special needs.
We strive to offer residents a safe, healthy, and welcoming place to call home. Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 3-11.
Salary: $16.50 an hour, with a small bonus possible at the end of the year.
Benefits: Free meals during shift. Holiday, vacation, and sick time available. Healthcare and prescription plan (employee pays 25% and Valentine House pays 75%). Matching retirement plan.
Duties Include:
1. Assist fully independent and ambulatory residents in activities of daily living such as serving meals.
2. Hand out/monitor medications and maintain medication charts (training provided.)
3. Answer phones and take messages
4. Keep administration informed of unusual events, check, and use a communication log
5. Know emergency actions, fire drills, and evacuation plans
6. Other general office and residence duties
7. Other duties as assigned.
